BAUDELAIRE (CHARLES, 1821-1867, French poet) IMPRESSIVE LARGE LITHOGRAPH PORTRAIT OF BAUDELAIRE, head and shoulders, three quarters facing right, eyes turned to the spectator, signed and titled by the artist Henry de Groux, numbered 15, unobtrusive slight cockling, framed and glazed, size of aperture 16½ x 12 inches, overall size c. 26 x 22 inches, no date

Henry de Groux was noted early in his career for his visionary painted portraits of Napoleon, Baudelaire, Wagner and Zola.
